Saved a single mom over $100 a month on ONE prescription for her child!

I know you've probably seen all the hoo-ha out there about the health care reform.  But let's get down to the reality that is in our neighborhoods and our families.  How about the dad who lost his job last year and his COBRA runs out soon?  Or what about the single mom, who works just enough NOT to qualify for State Assistance but can't afford to pay for private healthcare?  I know, I was one of those moms not too long ago.

I have been using a plan out there that is different than a "traditional" insurance plan, but nonetheless, has saved my family literally THOUSANDS of dollars on our out of pocket costs on dental, vision and yes, prescriptions.  Now I know that stores like Walmart and Target can give you a generic for maybe $4, and that's all well and good if you can take the generic or how about if your medicine even COMES in generic form

So today while working from home, I take a call from a woman in my local area, who just lost her NJ Family Care plan, is about to lose her Unemployment, is a single mom, and has a child who has monthly meds that total HUNDREDS.  I looked up each med for her, dose specific, and found out that just on ONE medicine our plan could save her $120 a monthJUST ONE MED!  That's priceless.

The plan I use is part of a plan type called DMPO - Discount Medical Plan Organization.  What is that?  It's a discounted fee for service plan - in English - YOU PAY LESS.  A discounted fee if you will.  So how do I know that it's for real?  Because I USE IT.  I have for the last 5 years for myself and my husband.  Here's a quick glance at what we've saved off the top of my head:

Broke a tooth with an old filling...Without my plan $1,350...With my plan?  $600
Complete Dental Checkup - full xrays & fluoride too!...Without my plan...$330...With my plan?  $103
Glasses - with scratch proof coating, no glare, ultra light lenses...Without plan $400...With plan?  $179
THREE, yes THREE prescriptions - 1 antibiotic, 1 head/chest pill (not OTC) and 1 bronchial dilator...Without my plan...I didn't ask, I was already sick enough ha ha ha...With my plan? $55!

So you see...it really does work.  Just in those few examples above, we saved over A THOUSAND DOLLARS and our plan costs us less than $20 a MONTH
DO THE MATH
Don't be scared to be covered under something that isn't "insurance".  This program has helped MILLIONS OF PEOPLE save BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

If you know someone who needs our help - please tell them.  There ARE alternatives out there to the high cost of healthcare and no one should have to face the burdens of those high monthly premiums if they don't have to.  Check it out while we are still having our sale - just 14 more days to get HALF PRICE PREMIUMS FOR ONE FULL YEAR!!!

Welcome To Holland - A Mother's Journey on the birth of a Special Needs Child

I was recently reintroduced to this wonderful piece written by Emily Perl Kingsley, by a dear co-worker and friend of mine who shares my journey too, and being the mother of a son who has special needs, I wanted to share this - what a journey! Enjoy your trip and I'll see you in Holland!

WELCOME TO HOLLAND

I am often asked to describe the experience of raising a child with a disability - to try to help people who have not shared that unique experience to understand it, to imagine how it would feel. It's like this......

When you're going to have a baby, it's like planning a fabulous vacation trip - to Italy. You buy a bunch of guide books and make your wonderful plans. The Coliseum. The Michelangelo David. The gondolas in Venice. You may learn some handy phrases in Italian. It's all very exciting.

After months of eager anticipation, the day finally arrives. You pack your bags and off you go. Several hours later, the plane lands. The stewardess comes in and says, "Welcome to Holland."

"Holland?!?" you say. "What do you mean Holland?? I signed up for Italy! I'm supposed to be in Italy. All my life I've dreamed of going to Italy."

But there's been a change in the flight plan. They've landed in Holland and there you must stay.

The important thing is that they haven't taken you to a horrible, disgusting, filthy place, full of pestilence, famine and disease. It's just a different place.

So you must go out and buy new guide books. And you must learn a whole new language. And you will meet a whole new group of people you would never have met.

It's just a different place. It's slower-paced than Italy, less flashy than Italy. But after you've been there for a while and you catch your breath, you look around.... and you begin to notice that Holland has windmills....and Holland has tulips. Holland even has Rembrandts.

But everyone you know is busy coming and going from Italy... and they're all bragging about what a wonderful time they had there. And for the rest of your life, you will say "Yes, that's where I was supposed to go. That's what I had planned."

And the pain of that will never, ever, ever, ever go away... because the loss of that dream is a very very significant loss.

But... if you spend your life mourning the fact that you didn't get to Italy, you may never be free to enjoy the very special, the very lovely things ... about Holland.

Wealth & Residual Income - What is it?

When I first joined my company in Network Marketing, the thing that appealed to me the most about the benefits of what I had become involved with was not only helping people (I am in a service based industry, not a product marketing industry) but the company said I could create wealth and a future for my family with residual income. I was hooked! Sounds great! Residual income....What is that?? And how do I get some?

So here I am a 37 year old, stay at home mom with a teaching degree, trying to find a way to make this "residual income" from home so I can bring my husband home from Job #2. Well, after being involved in the Network Marketing industry for a short time, I finally understand the power of what I have my hands on for my family and for my future.

I'd like to share with you an article, written by Debbi Carroll, that explains it for those who are new to the concept of residual income so you can see exactly HOW this can help you obtain wealth and a secure future for you & your families:

Wealth is created by streams of residual income. Residual income is leveraged income… not trading time for dollars. For example, when I was working as a nurse for the government they were paying me a salary and if I was lucky they would give me small raises on an annual basis. When I left their employ… I no longer received income from them. This is linear income.
So what is residual income, really?

Residual income is income that continues to be earned after the initial effort has come to an end. In other words, it can be thought of as the process of making a sale one time but getting paid over and over again.

Let me give you example… let’s say you are marketing e-books and you charge $29 for the book. Each time you make a sale you get $5 in commissions. You then have to go out an find another customer to purchase another book to make more money. So if you sell 100 books you make $500 for 100 customers.

Now lets say that you market a monthly subscription to a program that gives the client value on a monthly basis, like a dental or health program, legal services or identity theft protection program and they pay a monthly fee. You get recurring income over and over again. Lets say that you make the same $5 on each plan… month after month.

So for those 100 customers, you would make $500 the first month and the second and third and over a year you would make $6000. Over 5 years you would make $30,000 total on those same 100 customers. Think about how much you could make with 1,000 customers.
Network marketing , affiliate programs, and investments all create streams of residual income and there are many great companies and programs to choose from. Find a program that you can be passionate about, that brings real value to the client (solves a problem for them), has great training and pays residual income.

And that my friends, is the secret to wealth!

People Turn to "Network Marketing" in Soft Economy - as seen on NBC

'People Turn to "Network Marketing" in Soft Economy'

BIRMINGHAM, AL. -- While her husband was searching for full time work, Jennifer Grissom of Birmingham decided to make a little money on the side on top of her full-time job. "I had to find some way to get an extra line of income that worked in the hours I had available to me," she said.Since November, Jennifer's been selling skin care products for a network marketing company.

The company relies on a network of sales consultants who recruit other people to sell the product as well. The more people a sales consultant recruits, the bigger her potential earnings are. It might sound like a pyramid scheme to some, but marketing experts say it's not.

"These are legitimate businesses, though you want to make sure you're working for a good business, always," Dr. Betsy Holloway of Samford University's Brock School of Business said. It's called "network marketing" or "multi-level marketing" and it's been around for decades. Doctor Holloway said direct retail like this has been growing for a decade, and there's potential for it to get even bigger. "I think in today's economy with the layoffs that we have and people desperate to find work, there's going to be increased demand in these sorts of opportunities."

Jennifer Grissom said she had to overcome a preconceived stigma of network marketing and the fear of rejection. "It's not easy, but it is simple," Grissom said. "You just have to be able to understand it, and be enthusiastic, without being annoying." She's exceeding her expectations just three months after starting. Experts advise if someone wants you to join a network marketing opportunity, take time to research the company. Check to see if it belongs to the Direct Selling Association, a group that holds companies to strict standards of operation. They say that can help ensure you're joining a legitimate business, and not signing up for a risky scheme.

Although this article was printed on the internet on February 17th, it was also aired on NBC 13 HD's (3/10) 10 pm News.
